Griffin’s Grayhawk Challenge

Griffin is a 4 year old good buddy of Stan Utley and loves among other things, his parents, his watermelon, playing in the dirt and playing golf  – not necessarily in that order. The problem is that Griffin can’t HEAR the ball fall into the cup. And we all know that’s one of the sweetest sounds in the world. He was born with bilateral microtia and atresia of the ears (deformed ears and no ear canals) and is beginning the long process of reconstructive surgeries necessary for him to have normally functioning ears. Due to the highly specialized surgeries required to construct ears and ear canals, the cost after insurance to the Oas family will be more than $100,000 and Stan wants to help.

SO HERE’S THE FIRST CHALLENGE:

Come and join Stan Utley, Griffin’s parents, his uncle Cody, his Aunt Kym, his Nana Joyce and all his pals on Saturday, April 28 at 6 pm at Grayhawk Golf Club where you can HEAR some live music, enjoy some great hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, score some really cool stuff at the SILENT AUCTION and challenge Griffin to a putting contest. CHALLENGE NUMBER THREE:

For you hardcore golfers, play in the Griffin Scramble on Saturday, April 28 at 4:00 pm on Talon (Griffin’s favorite). Cost is $100 per player for 9 hole scramble, prizes and lots of fun. In honor of Griffin, we encourage you to be as LOUD as possible on the course! Then stay for the party afterward.
